The multi award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and the Kuranda Scenic Train ride is to be definitely experienced in Queensland. The tour begins with a pick up from your accommodation anywhere in Port Douglas. Travel through the rainforest enjoying breathtaking scenery, waterfalls and tunnels. Head up the coast to stunning Palm Cove. This tour is Limited mobility and disabled friendly. The tour is available at two start timings of 08:30 and 11:00.

Itinerary

Early start: 08:30 After being picked up from your accommodation in Port Douglas, we make our first stop at Freshwater Station to take a journey aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway and travel through the rainforest enjoying the breathtaking scenery, waterfalls and tunnels. On arrival in Kuranda you will be met by your guide who will show you around the village which is famous for its arts and crafts markets. After enjoying 2 hours in Kuranda it's time for a trip on the multi award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will enjoy a world heritage listed rainforest experience and take in some of the most spectacular views on earth. Finally we head up the coast to the stunning Palm Cove where you can stroll along the palm fringed Esplanade before enjoying a milkshake, soft drink, coffee and cake (at your own expense) overlooking the picturesque beach. Take a stroll amongst the shops and galleries, wander the beach and let the kids play in the playground. At the end of the day we will return to Port Douglas at approximately 16:30. Late Start: 11:00 Leaving at 11am means we avoid the crowds and you can enjoy a relaxing morning before you are picked up by your guide from your Port Douglas accommodation. Our first stop is at the multi- award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will enjoy a world heritage listed rainforest experience and take in some of the most spectacular views on earth. On arrival in Kuranda your guide will be there to meet and show you around this, 'Village in the rainforest' famous for its colourful arts and crafts markets. After approx 2 hours in Kuranda it's time for a trip on one of the most spectacular rail journeys in Australia, the Kuranda Scenic Train. Once we arrive at Freshwater station we head up the coast to stunning Palm Cove. Your guide will show you along the palm fringed Esplanade before joining you for a sunset cocktail/wine/beer/soft drink (at own expense) overlooking the picturesque beach. Take a stroll amongst the shops and galleries, wander the beach and let the kids play on the playground! Returning to Port Douglas at dusk and the end of our afternoon together.
