Explore the underwater world at Bait Reef and witness the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Set sail and dive to the Whitsunday Islands and Outer Great Barrier Reef on the 16.4m ketch Kiana. It is designed to meet maximum comfort for 14 passengers, de stress in large roomy saloon and comfortable cabins. Kiana's saloon and all cabins are fully air conditioned to ensure your comfort during those steamy tropical evenings, sailing and diving by day and great food and a relaxed atmosphere in the evening, skipper, hostess and dive instructor will ensure you enjoy the best of both. Unique marine hangi (pronounced hungy) will satisfy the gourmet within you. The Hangi is a traditional New Zealand Maori method of cooking in an earth oven. Snorkelling site in the Whitsunday Islands is located at the north end of Hook Island. Sites such as Luncheon Bay, Mantra ray Bay and Mackerel Bay will take your breath away. Kiana's upper decks are very spacious and provide permanently shaded areas for protection. Below decks, the saloon is fully air conditioned and fitted with timber lined cabins to add to the luxurious feel of this magnificently appointed sailing vessel.

Itinerary

Day 1: Whitehaven Beach Kick start your day around 8:00 Kiana can carry a maximum of 14 passengers ensuring that it’s never crowded, crew consists of a qualified Skipper, Dive Instructor and Cook or Deckhand. A crew of three ensures that Kiana's guests never lack attention. All meals are prepared on board Kiana from fresh ingredients, after you are done with your early morning meal bushwalk through the world famous Whitsunday National park and a visit to the spectacular Hill Inlet lookout. This is the second most photographed place in all of Australia, visit the famous and unique lookout and see the amazing and mesmerising swirling sands below, which are constantly changing and never the same. Hit the hay after a tasty dinner. Day 2: Visit the Outer Reef After a brunch get ready to explore the Bait Reef on the second day, it is the choice Outer Reef destination in the Whitsundays which is totally protected under the Great Barrier Reef Plan of Management and is abundant in marine life and corals. Snorkel and scuba dive Barrier Reef is 2 to 3 hours beyond the islands and provides a picturesque journey, with an unbroken horizon and beautiful blue waters. Break in for lunch and spend time on the iconic Whitehaven Beach, considered as the favourite spot and voted as the best beach in the world. The pure white silica sands will stay cool under your feet as you explore, end of the day enjoy your dinner and relax at your cabin. Day 3: Hook Island Continue your journey after a brief breakfast, visit some of the best dive and snorkeling site in the Whitsunday Islands, located at the north end of Hook Island. Sites such as Luncheon Bay, Mantra ray Bay and Mackerel Bay will take your breath away. The beautiful soft and hard corals, diverse marine life and colourful finned residents provide the perfect playground for exploring, ideal for both snorkelers and divers. Tour ends by 16:00 hours.
