Western Australia has a reputation for producing some excellent wines, and the Perth Hills is no exception. A true hidden gem right on the doorstep of Perth, the Bickley Valley wine trail boasts stunning views of endless vineyards and orchards. Not only does this region produce great wine, but it is also highly regarded for its excellent apple and pear orchards, which in turn makes delicious cider. And if we are tasting cider and wine, why not round out the day with a showcase of Perth whiskey? The Cider, Wine and Whiskey tour really offers something for everyone!

Tour Highlights

A true hidden gem right on the doorstep of Perth, the Bickley Valley wine trail boasts stunning views of rolling hills covered in orchards, great wine, fantastic fruit orchards and plentiful vineyards. This is a beautiful region to visit at all times of the year - with stunning blossoms in spring, amazing colours in Autumn, lush green trees and load of fruit in Summer, and dramatic landscapes in winter. Being a small group tour, you will really get to explore like a local - with a guided tour of a vineyard and orchard, where you will learn more about this unique region and you are even invited to taste seasonal fruit straight off the trees.

Also included on this tour is a tasting paddle of five ciders at a craft cider house while enjoying views over the apple orchards; extensive wine tastings at two excellent wineries including rare varietals and fortified wines; and a behind scenes personal tour of Perth's only urban Whiskey distillery, with Whiskey tastings included. Most of the products you will taste are not available in shops or restaurants, making this a unique wine tasting and cellar door experience for both visitors and locals. A gourmet platter lunch is also included and features a selection of cheeses, meats and antipasto in a fabulous boutique winery setting - again with amazing views!

This tour is set at a relaxed pace to allow plenty of time to explore, taste and speak to the local growers, winemakers and distillers. You can also purchase freshly picked, locally grown seasonal fruit to take with you. As we leave the hills, we will do a quick stop for a unique view and photo opportunity of the entire city landscape. Our tours are guaranteed to be a maximum of 12 people, so that you get a personal and memorable experience.
