Rio’s highest peak, Pico Da Tijuca (1022m or 3353ft) is located in the middle of the Tijuca Forest and overlooks most of the city. Before hiking, we will stop by the entrance of the national park to visit a gigantic and beautiful waterfall. The track starts at the idyllic Bom Retiro and lasts no more than one and a half hours. Hiking duration is approximately 1:30h and is considered a moderate hike. From there, we have a wonderful view to most of Tijuca Forest’s landmarks, besides the Maracana and Engenhao stadiums, Guanabara Bay and a lot more.Includes
