Drive approximately 1 hour from downtown to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum a destination you should never miss when visiting China. Located about 1.5 kilometres east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum in Lintong, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century and listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. You will spend around 2.5 hours to explore all 3 pits tagged in the order of their discoveries, and be shocked by the vivid life-size terracotta army. After having lunch in a local nice restaurant, continue the sightseeing to the underground palace of Han Yangling Museum, the fourth Emperor's Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty, it is the first underground museum in China, all the relics are protected in the toughened glass to create the similar environment as it was before. You can see pottery warriors, animals, chariots and horses, and the archaeologists excavating through the glass. Afterwards, drive back to downtown and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music & Dance Show a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance, which reproduces the magnificent scenes of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, delighting the audience with fascinating ancient imperial court music and dance. The option of Dumpling Dinner is available if you wish. Cold dishes, seasonal vegetables and several kinds of steamed dumplings with different stuff ranging from pork, chicken, mushroom and duck to egg, leek, carrot, lotus root and more will be provided for you to taste.
