Don Juan Tenorio's Seville Tour
The mythological figure of Don Juan is so universal that his origins have become obscured but nowhere has a better claim than Seville, where the first written story of the legendary libertine was set in the 14th century. Being Spain, there are two versions of Don Juan: one a lustful Lothario, the other a loveable rogue. Sevillians prefer the latter, known as Don Juan Tenorio. His home in the Plaza San Leandro, the Hosteria del Laurel in la Plaza de Los Venerables, the house of Dona Ana de Pantoja in Plaza de la Alianza and the tomb of the Tenorio's in Plaza Nueva, where the tour ends.
