This is a fascinating one day tour to the outskirts of Bangkok and away from the tourism spoils.

Mahasawat Canal is a made made canal that King Rama IV ordered be made in 1859. It starts in Bangkok and goes to Nakorn Pathom Province, a total of 28 kilometres in all.

We depart Bangkok at about 8.00am and head to Mahasawat Agricultural Tourism Center in Salaya. There are several activities such as taking a boat to visit a lovely lotus pond, visiting an orchid farm, making dried fruits and snacks and riding a tractor to a fruits farm.

After Agro-farm, drive 30 kilometres to Woodland. Here, a delicious Thai Set Menu will be served for your lunch.

Woodland is a private wooden collection of Dr. Natthakrit Thewphaingam and has just recently been made open to the public and is one of the newest tourist attractions in the kingdom. This is much more than just an art museum, as nearly everything is made of wood. With wood carvings collected over generations, the oldest being over 200 years old, the museum consists of three zones and tells a story called 'Tales of the Wood'.

Your return to Bangkok will be at approximately 5.00pm.
