2-Mile Kayaking Trip - Guided

Gentle 2-mile kayaking trip! Beautiful calm kayaking trip with 2 kayak chutes. The guide gives simple paddle instructions before getting on the river and ensure you have a safe fun kayak trip. Our guides have degrees in Environmental Biology and talk about all the wildlife seen while kayaking. This is a family friendly kayak trip!

Kayaks, Paddles, Life Vests, and our shuttle service.

We will be meeting at Espada Park in the parking lot near the bathrooms. Look for the Mission Adventure Tours van with a kayak trailer. We will shuttle you upstream to the launch point. Please wear weather appropriate non-cotton clothing, strap on sandals, closed toed shoes or water-shoes. You will be getting wet on this trip and it is a good idea to bring a change of clothes.

What to Bring

A water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses and hat are good to bring along. You will be standing in the water to get in and out of the kayak so bring shoes that you don’t mind getting wet (i.e. strap on sandals or water-shoes). You will be getting very wet from the waist down and it is a good idea to bring a change of clothes. Bring some type of waterproof bag to keep you keys and cellphone in or you can rent a dry bag from Mission Adventure Tours for $5.00 on the day of your trip.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations must be made 48 hours before scheduled trips. Refunds will not be given if cancellations are made within 48 hours of the scheduled trip. We will give full refunds for unreasonable weather conditions, including the following: temperatures below 55 degrees, thunder storms, heavy rain, snow, and ice. Trips will NOT be canceled/refunded for drizzle or light rain. Refunds for river trips will also be given for any unforeseen closures of the San Antonio Mission Reach section of the San Antonio River.
