Warna Manda - Outstanding Natural Beauty
Warna meaning 'sea' and Manda meaning 'sand' is the name of our tours to deserted beaches and rocky coastlines. The iconic coastline between Ceduna and the Head of Bight to the west provides the visitor with unparalleled opportunities to visit remote beaches, get off the beaten track, and witness nature at its best. With ample bird watching opportunities, and the chance to see uncommon and iconic Australian wildlife, the Far West is one of the last places in South Australia to open up to tourism.
There is no other place like the remote Far West of SA for short adventures and to connect with nature. Feel the spirit of this ancient land through personalised nature-based 4WD tours to coastal parks not previously available. This Warna Manda Coastal Parks tour explores a relatively undisturbed coastal dune system with an associated samphire community and mallee woodland. It provides important habitat for the spinifex hopping mouse, short-beaked echidna, and numerous bird species including coastal raptors.
Included is a visit to a place of outstanding natural beauty including headlands, high cliffs, sheltered bays, and long sandy beaches. Occasionally Southern Right whales can be seen from the cliffs (May to October). One price for 2 adults / 2 children, or for up to 3 persons in the 4-wheel drive adventure.
