Hiking - Day Trip to Aselidalen in Bodo
Børvasstindane Mountains are the signature mountains of Bodø. Åselidalen – "The Hidden Valley" cuts into the mountains, between the two mountain ridges Åselitindan Ridge and Falkflågtindan Ridge. The valley was carved out by glaciers some hundreds of thousands of years ago and is surrounded by jagged peaks, all above 1,000 metres. A perfect place for a hiking day trip in Northern Norway. The trip also includes a visit to Saltstraumen, the strongest tidewater current in the world.
This hiking day trip is designed for beginners and intermediates. You should have some outdoor experience in walking and hiking before you arrive.
