Largest Zipline in South Pacific & Cave Exploration from Sigatoka
Start your day with morning pickup at resorts on the Coral Coast, then travel in an air-conditioned minivan for about 1.5 hours to reach the zipline course. Your zipline guide provides a safety briefing and equipment, then leads you to the start of the more than 3-mile (5-km) long course. Sixteen ziplines carry you over a pristine wilderness with mountain scenery and ocean views. Experience three different ecosystems during the course of this tour. On the upper mountain, soar past old-growth vesi trees, hardwood trees that have been used traditionally to make the bowls for the kava ceremony, but are now endangered due to deforestation. On the lower section of the mountain, see rain trees and cave systems. A walking tour through the limestone caves is included in your tour, and you'll enjoy a delicious lunch there. The course features stunning views from the platforms, with ocean views that overlook the Mamanuca Islands, Plantation Island, Tavarua, and the entrance to Momi Bay. Your tour ends after four hours with return transfer to your hotel.
