Dubrovnik Old Town and Ancient City Walls Walking Tour
Dubrovnik
3 hours 30 minutes
Choose a departure time that suits your schedule and combine two of Dubrovnik’s essential walking experiences in one well-organized day, without needing to coordinate tickets or routes on your own.
Begin with a guided walk through Dubrovnik’s Old Town, meeting near Pile Gate before heading into the historic center. Walk the stone-paved streets as your guide explains how the city developed over centuries, stopping at landmarks such as Onofrio’s Fountain and the Franciscan Monastery, where you’ll see the Pieta sculpture and one of Europe’s oldest still-operating pharmacies. Continue along the Stradun, the city’s main thoroughfare, passing notable buildings including Sponza Palace, Rector’s Palace, and Orlando’s Column as the tour concludes nearby.
Later, join your guide for a walk along Dubrovnik’s city walls (entrance fee paid separately). Follow the full circuit of the fortifications while learning how the walls were constructed beginning in the 12th century and how they helped protect the city from repeated invasions. Along the way, see key defensive structures such as Minceta Tower and Fort Revelin, and take in elevated views over the Old Town and Adriatic Sea. The experience finishes at Fort Lovrijenac, which is included with the city walls ticket.
