Hidden Dublin: Northside Ghost Walk Tour
Your ghost tour begins outside of the Church Bar, located on Jervis Street, at 8pm. After a brief introduction to Dublin’s haunted history, you’ll walk through the former Viking enclave, one of the oldest parts of Dublin, to the site of St. Mary’s Abbey, a monastic settlement dating back to medieval times. Listen to tales of Lord Norbury, the sadistic hanging judge, the vicious Robert Emmet, and the legend of Scaldbrother, an infamous medieval thief whose stolen treasure still lurks in the labyrinth of chambers beneath the city. Then, beneath the cloak of darkness, weave your wicked way down Hendrick, the former site of two of Dublin’s most haunted houses. Your tour concludes at the Brazen Head pub at around 10pm.
