ATV - Black Beach Safari and the Plane Wreck

ATV/Quad biking is a great way to explore the raw black sandy beaches on the south coast. 

The adventure begins at our main base where we¬†gear up and get to know the ATV‘s/Quad‘s. After we have gone through the safety instructions we start the drive, trough small rivers and streams, to the sandy beach which derives from the dormant volcano Katla. After a fun ride on the black¬†beach¬†we stop at the famous DC3 plane wreck to adore the amazing view up to M√Ωrdalsj√∂kull glacier and along the big black coast all the way to¬†Dyrh√≥laey, the southernmost part of Iceland. When we have synced in these beautiful sights we continue to the river J√∂kuls√° and up to the foot of Mt. Hei√∞arhorn. Along the¬†mountains¬†we head back to the base.¬†
