Rome Small-Group Walking with Pantheon, Trevi, Spanish Steps
Head to Piazza del Popolo to meet your guide by the square’s entrance gates. With the rest of your small group, you’ll then start your tour of the city center. Pass along a bustling shopping street and delve into the capital’s fashion district, lined with the flagship stores of Bulgari, Valentino, Fendi, and more. As your walk continues, you’ll pass landmarks such as the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Throw a coin into the famous water feature to ensure your return to Rome, and check out the Column of the Immaculate Conception as your guide explains its history. Swing past Piazza Colonna to admire the imposing Column of Marcus Aurelius, and pass an array of monumental sights including Palazzo Chigi, Palazzo Montecitorio, the Church of St. Ignatius, and a temple dedicated to the Emperor Hadrian. Step inside the Pantheon to see royal tombs alongside the tomb of Renaissance artist Raphael. After leaving the Pantheon, you’ll make your way to the Bernini-designed fountains of Piazza Navona, passing the Senate House — Rome’s first university — along the way. Your tour ends in the square.
