Bike the Wineries - Self Guided Tour

After pick-up from your accommodation we take a scenic drive to Gibbston one of Central Otago’s famous wine regions. From here you can choose the starting point for your bike ride depending on how many km’s you want to cover and wineries you want to visit. Your driver will provide you with a bike, helmet, trail map and some local insight on wineries and points of interest along the way.

You will have approximately three and a half hours to explore the bike trails, wineries and other points of interest in Gibbston. Bring a picnic lunch or eat at one of the wineries, cheesery or the local tavern. After you have finished exploring your driver will collect you from a designated pick-up point and transport you back to your accommodation. The bikes have a bag on them to carry any wine you want to purchase but your driver can also pick-up any larger purchases you have made on-route back to Queenstown.

You will need:

• A jacket

• Comfortable clothes and shoes for riding

• A bottle of water

• Sunscreen

• Money for wineries/lunch

• Photo ID (passport, NZ drivers licence, 18+ card)

• Pick-up locations outside of central Queenstown and Arrowtown are possible but may incur an additional fee, please enquire upon booking
