Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour from Krakow
Meet a driver at your Krakow hotel for departure between 830am and 9:30am, then board a Mercedes Benz minivan or minibus for the 70-minute trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Along the way, the short documentary The Liberation of Auschwitz will be screened, including footage by the Soviet soldiers who freed the camp. Upon arrival at Auschwitz-Birkenau, join a guide for a 3.5-hour guided tour of the camps, now preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll see barracks, train tracks, and long rows of gas chamber chimneys, and learn the story of those who suffered and died in the largest concentration and extermination centers in the Nazi Third Reich.
