The California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park brings together an aquarium, planetarium, rainforest, and natural history museum under one roof. It offers exhibits, shows, and programs for all ages.
See the indoor coral reef, which is home to thousands of animals. Visit the African Hall to see the penguin colony, including the newest chicks, Pogo and Ozzie.
Watch the current show in the 75-foot planetarium. Shows run at different times throughout the day.
Walk through the four-story rainforest to see birds, reptiles, amphibians, and other species. Explore specimens and hands-on activities for all ages in the Naturalist Center.
Head to the living roof for outdoor views. Children can also explore the outdoor nature play area, Wander Woods.
