Your tour begins in the morning at Fisherman's Wharf, where you meet your guide for a drive around San Francisco. Over the course of the day, you get a look at the city's diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping at several locations where you can hop off the bus to take photos and look around a bit. After your city tour, enjoy a walk through the massive redwood trees in Muir Woods. Then, head to the quaint town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense). Back in the city, you have the option to purchase your own Alcatraz ticket and board a ferry from Pier 33 for the ride across the bay to Alcatraz Island, home to the former prison of the same name. Enjoy the prison's fascinating audio tour as you explore the cellblock, and then return to Pier 33 on the ferry to end your day tour.
