Providence WaterFire Festival Day Trip
Join us as we travel to Providence Rhode Island where we will enjoy an Italian lunch served family style. After lunch we will visit Federal Hill where you may explore and find your own dessert among the numerous pastry shops. Perhaps you will want to save some for a late snack!
In the afternoon we will board the Venetian Gondolas for a ride through the canals. The gondolas have been imported from Venice and are the same boats used throughout the canal system of Venice. Your oars man will sing Italian songs to you; we will have cheese & crackers and an ice bucket with glasses so that you may enjoy your favorite beverage (bring your beverage with you). Each Gondola seats a maximum of six passengers for a half hour ride. Gondolas leave every 15 minutes with six passengers. While you are waiting for your Gondola, stroll along the banks of the canal and enjoy the festivities. At sunset the canals of Providence will be illuminated by 100 bonfires lit to synchronized music.
Opening ceremonies start at an hour before sunset. November show is a moving salute to Veterans. Departure times will change due to the change in the sunset times.

Pickup:

Pick ups are at Comfort Inn Boston (Morrisey blvd), the Hilton Boston Logan Airport or South Station (Atlantic Street side in front of the glass doors).
