Day Trip to Jumpinpin - Private Charter
Day Trip to Jumpinpin. Our day starts at 10am when our guests board ‘Beachcomber’ at our pickup spot at Banksia Park, Hope Island. Once everyone is seated on board we will cruise slowly East along the Coomera River towards the Broadwater while our guests (who are over 18) enjoy their complimentary glass of Prosecco. This is the perfect chance to sightsee past the stunning riverside homes of Paradise Point and Sovereign Islands.
We then increase our speed (up to about 20 knots) for the next half hour to head north to the more natural environment of the Jumpinpin area of South Stradbroke Island. This will show our guests a very different part of the Gold Coast with no high rises in sight!
This entire trip from Hope Island to Jumpinpin takes about an hour as we travel past the South Stradbroke Island landmarks of Couran Cove, Tipplers and the Dux on our way to the northern most end of South Stradbroke island.
Our exact location to moor for lunch, picnic or explore is dependent on the weather, tide and our guests wishes for the day. On an ideal day we will moor in clear waters on a sandy beach with dolphins swimming nearby. Adventurous guests can choose to explore the shore or walk across to the ocean side of South Stradbroke Island – our front access ladder allows access directly from boat to sand.
Guests may also prefer just to relax on board and take in the sights while enjoying lunch on Beachcomber, or a variation of the two. You are also welcome to have a fish from Beachcomber if you like – we have some rods on board just in case!
After approximately 3 hours up Jumpinpin way we will head for home. Coffee, tea and a sweet treat are served when we are back again in the 6 knot zone to end the day on the water.
$1200 gets you private use of Beachcomber for up to 6 people for 5 hours, including lunch, 2 glasses of Prosecco, complimentary soft-drinks, water, tea & coffee. Additional guests beyond 6 reduces the cost per person such that 12 guests works out at $150 per person – 12 guests maximum.
We can take less than 6 guests - however the minimum charge is $1200.
Beachcomber is your vessel for 5 hours, so earlier pickup times, and extended days out can be organised if required – price on application.
