Itinerary
Travel through Hahndorf historic German village to the seaside resort of Victor Harbor via Australia’s greatest river system, where the Murray River meets the lakes and sea at the old paddle steamer port of Goolwa. Enjoy the scenic drive from Adelaide through the Adelaide Hills and arrive at the German Township of Hanhdorf and treat yourself to morning tea at Hanhdorf Inn at your cost. Visit the Antique clock Museum, opal shop, fudge shop, and many more as we spend an hour in Hanhdorf village. Stroll along the beach in the coastal town of Goolwa with a short stop at South Australia’s greatest surfing beach, and as we travel towards Victor Harbor we keep our eyes open at Basham beach during whale season.
