With Chamonix being renowned as the world capital of alpinism, freeride skiing, ice climbing and ultra-trail running, this busy little town is a popular place for day-trippers. The cable car will bring you at the summit of Aiguille du Midi, the peak just in front the Mont-Blanc, from there you will have an amazing view on the peaks of French, Swiss and Italian Alps! At 3842m enjoy the feeling of touching the sky. In the afternoon enjoy a ride through the mountain landscape to get to the largest glacier of France also known as "La Mer de Glace" The Ice sea. A panoramic terrace gives you the best view on the Glacier. If the season allows it you can visit the Ice cave.
