Alaska Helicopter Tour with Glacier Landing

Make your own way to the meeting point, which is at a lodge outside Anchorage, or arrange pickup (additional fee) ahead of time. Give yourself plenty of time and check in 45 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Meet your guide and small group and board the helicopter. Soar over the astonishing wild Alaskan landscape of mountains, rivers, glaciers, and gorges before landing on the Knik Glacier. Embark on a guided hike over the glacier. If you book the tour in winter, between October and April, it may not be possible to land on top of the glacier due to snow cover so you’ll land next to the glacier, near massive ice formations, instead. Your tour ends with a flight back to the lodge.

• WINTER TOURS - October - April -we are unable to land on top of the glacier due to snow cover. We will land next to the glaciers near the massive ice formations
• Guests 300lbs or over require our Astar Helicopter to fly. This is not available for every time/day.Please call direct to assure we have that helicopter available to accommodate prior to booking.
• Alaska Helicopter Tours has Robinson 44s and ASTAR helicopters. We never guarantee the type of helicopter you will be flying in unless a private helicopter option is purchased. Parties with multiple separate bookings, or parties over 2 passengers may be in 2 helicopters, but will always be together for the tour.
