Lincoln's Assassination Walking Tour
On this tour, you will hear the story of President Lincoln's assassination. Your guide will share historical photographs and anecdotes to set the scene as you stop at Lafayette Square Park, St. John's Church, and Ford's Theater. It is a story filled with intrigue, mystery, and betrayal.
The tour starts by the Andrew Jackson Statue in Lafayette Square Park (16th Street between H Street and Pennsylvania Ave NW, directly across from the White House. Tour ends outside the Ford’s Theatre. We can arrange tickets to the Ford Theatre on request. The sights covered are as follows:

• Site of William Seward’s Home.
• Site of Vice President Johnson’s Hotel.
• U.S. Treasury Building.
• Willard Hotel.
• National Theatre.
• Star Saloon.
• Ford’s Theatre.
• Peterson Boarding House.
• Baptist Alley.
*If Lafayette Square around the Jackson Statue is closed due to activities inside the White House we will meet at St. John's Church (1525 H Street NW)
