Fabienne is a Parisian in every sense of the word; she was born and raised in the 15th and has lived in her current apartment in the 15th for the last 10 years. Fabienne's great-grandfather was an architect who built many of the buildings in the arrondissement - ask Fabienne to tell you about the nearby square that was named after him! A library scientist for 20 years who has three grown children now in their 20s, Fabienne enjoys cooking and is passionate about the arts and music. She belongs to a choir that performs classical music twice yearly and loves going to the opera. Be sure to ask Fabienne for any music recommendations in the city!
What to expect:
Cooking Experience: Enjoy some appetizers and a cocktail while you learn to cook one or two traditional French dishes (the number of dishes you prepare will depend on their cooking time and complexity). Please note that Fabienne has a quite small kitchen so the group size of any cooking lessons will be capped at two people. End your lesson with a delicious homecooked meal that you have helped to prepare.
Meal: Step in to Fabienne's cozy Parisian apartment that she has transformed to host you a delicious three-course meal with traditional French classics. Enjoy some nibbles and a drink in Fabienne's living room while Fabienne puts the finishing touches on your meal, then sit down to your three-course meal at her living / dining room table. Fabienne will eat with you, although may be getting up occasionally to prepare the next dish. Fabienne is a warm and engaging personality who loves travel herself, so you are sure to find some wonderful conversation on top of the welcoming home-cooked meal.
