Rose Parade Platinum Experiences
Celebrate the New Year at the Rose Parade in sunny Southern California. You’ll have reserved seats for the best in parade viewing as you watch the magnificent floral floats, equestrians and marching bands in the 129th Tournament of Roses Parade. You’ll also have the option to choose how you would like to spend two of the days! On December 30, you’ll have a chance to see the floats being decorated before the parade and enjoy lunch and admission to the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens OR visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library with a docent-led tour and White House luncheon under the wings of Air Force One OR spend the day in Newport Beach. On December 31, choose from a day on Catalina Island OR Warner Bros. Studios Tour and Hollywood City Tour OR visit the Mission San Juan Capistrano and Richard Nixon Presidential Library for docent-led tours (your choices are included in the tour price). Celebrate New Year’s Eve at our private party, and spend all five nights at the Hotel Irvine.
Friday, December 29, 2017: WELCOME TO THE “O.C.” Upon arrival at SNA, LAX or LGB Airport, you’ll be transferred to Hotel Irvine, where you’ll check-in for your five-night stay. A welcome dinner at the hotel is planned as you settle in and get ready for your Rose Parade experience. (DINNER)
Saturday, December 30, 2017: CHOICE OF HOW TO SPEND YOUR DAY Choices include: ROSE PARADE FLOAT DECORATING TOUR, WITH LUNCH AND THE HUNTINGTON LIBRARY AND BOTANICAL GARDENS or RONALD REAGAN PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY WITH SIT-DOWN LUNCHEON IN THE AIR FORCE ONE PAVILION or LIFE’S A BEACH! ICONIC BEACH DAY IN NEWPORT BEACH After breakfast, you’ll set out to spend the day your way. See the finishing touches being put on the parade floats followed by lunch and a self-guided tour at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens. Or spend the day at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library with a docent-led the tour and a sit-down served White House luncheon in the Air Force One Pavilion. Or if you prefer, you can spend the day in Newport Beach! You’ll have a harbor cruise, lunch and free time on Balboa Island. The evening is at your leisure. Sunday, December 31, 2017: CHOICE OF HOW TO SPEND THE DAY AND A NEW YEAR’S EVE GALA CELEBRATION Choices include: WARNER BROS. STUDIOS TOUR AND HOLLYWOOD CITY TOUR or CATALINA ISLAND or RICHARD NIXON PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MISSION SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO Start your day with a buffet breakfast before heading off to your choice of attractions. Spend your morning on the VIP tram tour at Warner Bros. Studios then you will head off on a Hollywood’s Past and Present City Tour. Or enjoy a full day on Catalina Island, or you can visit the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano. The evening is filled with elegant dining, dancing to a live band, and the fun of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino. Monday, January 1, 2018: 129th TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE AND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BACKYARD BBQ AND SPECIAL MOVIE NIGHT “UNDER THE STARS” Enjoy an early morning buffet breakfast at the hotel before heading to Pasadena where you will have reserved premium grandstand seats as you watch the Rose Parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard. A souvenir program and blanket are included. After the parade, you’ll return to the hotel for a special Southern California Backyard BBQ. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. In the evening, we will be holding a special movie night “under the stars.” Bring your picnic dinner from the Marketplace and don’t forget the wine! (BREAKFAST AND LUNCH)
Tuesday, January 2, 2018: “SHOWCASE OF FLOATS” AND LUNCH IN BEVERLY HILLS AT LAWRY’S THE PRIME RIB Another hearty buffet breakfast is included before you travel back to Pasadena to see the floats on display at the spectacular “Showcase of Floats” event. After viewing the floats, you’ll be treated to a special farewell lunch in Beverly Hills at Lawry’s The Prime Rib. The remainder of the afternoon and evening are at your leisure. Wednesday, January 3, 2018: HOMEWARD BOUND After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to new friends as you transfer back to the airport for your flight home. (BREAKFAST)
