Portugal is famous for its antique trams that date back to World War II and picturesque cobblestone streets. If you enjoy a hike there are plenty of options in Portugal, either follow the coastal route at the southwestern point in Europe, or head inland through quaint villages and farmland. Portugal is also well known for it’s whale-watching season around the islands of the Azores from mid-April to mid-October.
