You won’t believe how wonderful it feels sliding on the peaceful waters of a lake and discovering some of its secret spots.

After a few minutes learning how to “pilot” your board, all your senses will be completely dedicated to the nature surrounding you (really, apart from our group, there’ll be no one else around – no speedboats, no jet-skies, no banana boats). Don’t be troubled if you fall – you couldn’t get cleaner water straight from the mountains around you.

You will also drive through luxuriant woods recognised as part of the European Network of Biogenetic Reserves and on a historical Roman highway (Via XVIII, from Braga to Astorga), as well as unveil the past in the details of a wonderfully preserved village.

This is truly an exceptional way to experience Gerês.

Specifics

• Suitable for ages from 2 to 75 years old

• May include 2 easy small hikes (approx. 30min each)

• Maximum weight: 150 kg (330 lbs)*

• If you don’t fell capable of steering a SUP or take a ride on another board we can change it to Kayak

• Duration: full day – 9:00 to 20:00

• For groups of 5 or more people, please call or e-mail to book

• Individuals or group sharing the same board – 250kg (550 lbs) in the case of kayaks.

Recommendations

• Wear weather and hiking appropriate clothes and shoes

• Bring swimwear – to dress up and take off on location (to avoid returning wet) -, a towel (you can rent one for 2€) and flip-flops

• Bring sunscreen (if relevant)

• Bring an extra t-shirt
