After hotel pickup, you’ll head straight to your first activity—riding through the countryside on horseback. After a pleasant canter, you’ll dismount to sample a traditional Dominican cocktail—a mixture of rum, wine, and honey aged using Dominican plants. Your next stop is the Basilica Virgen de La Altagracia, a charming church surrounded by a market selling artisan produce. After that, you’ll head into the mountains to a small family farm that grows coffee and cocoa, to sample local produce. Following a traditional Dominican lunch beside the Anamuya River, you’ll feel your adrenaline levels soar as you hurtle down a zipline and explore the jungle during an ATV ride, at the end of which you can take a refreshing swim in the river.
