Amman, the main city of Jordan and its capital, has been destroyed and rebuilt through the centuries. Mainly it was ruined by natural disasters and earthquakes. Amman had remained a village until 1878, until the railway was built between Damascus and Amman, from then on the city grew. Today the city is very well developed, and can boast of many art galleries and museums.

Dead Sea is 33 percent salt, and that is the reason why no living thing can survive in its waters. The water is said to be very therapeutic for ailments, and certain skin diseases. People flock to the Dead Sea from all over the world to benefit from its curative minerals.

Pella is in the North of Jordan, and until today excavations are still continuous. One of the oldest Christian Churches reside here.

Umm Quays is a town in the Northern Jordan Valley from which the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights are visible.

Jerash was inhabited since the Bronze Age around 1200 B.C., and has the ruins of the city of Gerasa which are Greco Roman. Jerash is known for it fruit and vegetables that grow in their rich soil.

Ajloun is famous for the Ajloun Castle and its many ruins.

Madaba is found in the middle of Jordan, and is known for its mosaics. There is one of the most famous mosaics of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century. 

Petra s the famous site located in the middle of the desert, and is thousands of years old. There are the most amazing facades to view, along with temples, a Roman theater, tombs, and much more.

Wadi Rum is inhabitted today by the Bedouins living in their goat haired tents. Traveling through Wad Rum one can view the paintings on the sides of the mountains that were done over 2000 years ago. 




Day 1: Arrival Amman




You will be met at the airport and assisted by a member of our staff at Queen Alia International Airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Amman. You are advised to get a good nights sleep.




Day 2: Amman City Tour / Jerash / Dead Sea




Breakfast. Visit the ruins of Amman‘s Roman Theatre, the Citadel, the Umayad Palace and the Archaeological and Folklore museums. We will take a short bus trip north to visit to the Greco-Roman city of Jerash. Then we drive down to the lowest point on earth for a swim in the Dead Sea. Overnight at a hotel in the Dead Sea.




Day 3: Dead Sea / Madaba / Mount Nebo / Wadi Mujib / Kerak / Petra




Breakfast. A whole day to explore the King's highway, which was once part of the ancient Silk Road. Visit the mosaic town of Madaba, and stop at the endearing Monastery of Mount Nebo for a visit and a view over the Jordan Valley. Continue south to Wadi Mujib then proceed to the Crusader's Castle of Kerak. We will then arrive in Petra for a stay overnight at the hotel.




Day 4: Full day visit of Petra




Breakfast. Enter the first part of the impressive, infamous fissure known as the Siq and bear witness to the sophistication of the Nabateans. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the Rose-Red City with its spectacular treasures, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and high places of sacrifice. We then return to the hotel for a stay overnight.




Day 5: Petra




Breakfast. Second entry to Petra to continue exploring the upper areas of the city. Overnight at the hotel.




Day 6: Petra / Beida / Wadi Rum




Breakfast. Proceed to Beida, also known as Little Petra, and the place where the Nabateans used to entertain their guests. We continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum for a jeep tour inside the Wadi. Watch a beautiful sunset over a cup of tea and continue to the Bedouin camp area deep inside the desert, where a large Bedouin tent will be set up to serve as a sitting room and smaller high quality Canadian sleeping tents will be prepared with comfortable mattresses, sheets and blankets. Dinner and overnight at camp.




Day 7: Wadi Rum / Amman




Breakfast. Morning departure back to Amman. Check in at your hotel. Free afternoon for leisure or shopping in Amman. Overnight at the hotel.




Day 8: Amman / Departure to final destination




Breakfast, transfer to the airport and assistance with formalities by a member of our staff. Departure to final destination.

Very warm clothing in Winter, cool comfortable clothing and head covering in Summer.
