Tagaytay Ridge, Palace in the Sky, Taal Volcano from Manilla
Begin your full-day trip with morning pickup at your Manila or Makati hotel. It’s a scenic drive to Tagaytay Ridge, a picturesque viewpoint situated at an elevation of 2,200 feet (671 meters). On arrival in Tagaytay, drive to the summit of Mt Gonzales to the ‘Palace in the Sky’—an imposing mansion of former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, converted into an urban enclave called People's Park in the Sky. From here, savor the cooler climate and iconic vista overlooking Taal Volcano, an island in the center of Taal Lake, and the second most active volcano in the Philippines. At midday, stop by a local restaurant to enjoy a lunch of traditional Filipino specialties. Make a stop at a local farm to see how coffee beans and vegetables are grown, plus the Orlina Art Museum, to admire the collection of glass sculptures. Return to Manila and enjoy drop-off at a central meeting point.
