At The Florida Aquarium, explore 11 habitats from Florida and around the world, with more than 670 species including seahorses, sharks, sea turtles, and a giant Pacific octopus.
Exhibits include a mangrove forest under a glass dome and the Shark Reef habitat. Visit touch pools like Stingray Beach, Moon Bay, and The Tide Pool to interact with stingrays, jellyfish, and other marine animals.
Optional experiences include SeaTREK underwater walking, a dolphin cruise in Tampa Bay, and a penguin encounter.
The aquarium is located in downtown Tampa along the streetcar route, with access to the Riverwalk, Ybor City, and Sparkman Wharf.
It is a non-profit organization that supports marine conservation. Admission helps fund animal care, education, sea turtle rehabilitation, and research on Florida’s coral reefs. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
