Dead of Night Ghosts and Cemetery Bus Tour
After meeting your ghoulish guide at the Rampart Treehouse, you’ll head straight to your first spooking spot: Bayout St. John. Here, Marie Laveau allegedly carried out many voodoo rituals. Your next stop is St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, which was built in the 1800s during the yellow fever epidemics as the city ran out of room to bury its dead. Learn about its history as a leper colony before heading to Charity Hospital Cemetery, a place of ample ghost sightings. Then, you’ll stop to pay your respects to those who died during Hurricane Katrina at a memorial home to tombs of 85 unidentified victims, before you conclude your tour at New Orleans City Park, where you’ll have a chance to grab a bite at Café du Monde.
